STREET STYLE FOOD OF KOREATOWN, LA W/MIYOSHI

Welcome to I AM MIYOSHI; Food, Culture, Travel!!!! There is nothing like street food. I found myself just wanting to go out in the city of LA in search of good company, great people, and delicious cuisine. That is exactly what I found.

Walking the streets of Koreatown, I found some of the best Mexican and El Salvadorian cuisines. Isn't that wild that I walked the streets of Koreatown and found, Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, and Pupusas???

Los Angeles is a very diverse city and there are a plethora of cultures in one city. The best thing about street food is that you never know who you will meet and what conversations you will have. I found myself talking to locals about the community and the food. I shared laughter with regulars while learning about their cultures and love for the vendor they so often come too.

It was an honor to speak to Ruby and her son Jonathon about Pupusas and all that it takes to make them mouth watering good. Also, the local Mario who I could tell he has had his fair share of them. It is nothing better then the social environment street food brings to peoples lives. Thank you Pupuseria Ruby and her son Jonathon. I will see you both soon..

Hours of operation for Pupuseria Ruby:
Friday-Sunday 5pm-9pm (maybe 10pm)
Located on: Oakwood and Alexandria

As the day continue, I tried all sorts of street food but I don't give you nothing but the best. I found the Taco Spot to end the night and had the honor of meeting Chuy, & Israel. They had some music playing, little kids having a great time eating and dancing. This was adventure time for me because Israel influenced me to try some Tongue Tacos!!!!!! OMG I was not ready. But I have to say Chuy being a 7 year experienced cook seasoned that meat so well, it was actually pretty darng good. It was very soft and a little more chewy than chicken but the seasoning brought it home for me and I continued to grub.

They are know for have 9 different choices of meet and their prices are economical. Go and say hello to Israel and Chuy on Normandie and 3rd Street

I had a ball taveling the streets of LA for good stories and food. Everyone was so nice and the food filled me up. I will definitely be back to grub at Pupuseria Ruby and The Taco Spot..

I AM MIYOSHI AT MEDITERRANEAN DELIGHT IN DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES

I had an honor to walk into a gem! I found Mediterranean Delight walking Downtown looking for a good place to eat that would be delicious and healthy. Nothing better than fresh foods, cooked with natural ingredients and FRESH HUMMUS. I got to talk to Gabriel who actually uses the Naan Bread Tandoor when preparing the bread. It was really a delight eating at this beautiful establishment.

It is very clean and color coordinated. The Color Palette is very inviting and I just felt like it was the perfect place to bring a group. It can be family or friends. The price is very economical and the actual porportions are PHENOMENAL. This is a place where you go with a groupd, pick a bunch of items and there is enough to share around the table. I just love the happy vibe I get when eating at Mediterranean Delight in Downtown LA. I am sure that the one in Burbank is awesome and the one coming to Pacioma, I have to be there for the opening.

I had a good time and the food was exceptional. Every bite of the Beef Lulu was so juicy and flavorful. The grilled chicken kabob had a good combination of crunch and chewy. The flavors mixed well together. I mentioned that the rice was very soft and smooth. The salad was fresh as well as the hummus. I used to be a person that eat one thing at a time, but here no I have to get every thing in one scoop.

They are very accommodating and the time to get your food is sufficient. They have great music playing while you wait with two televisions for your enjoyment. It is like a mini party. I love it. Go and try Mediterranean Delight in Downtown Los Angeles and let them know Miyoshi told you about it. ENJOYYYY. Tell Gabriel I said HI!!!

Okamoto Kitchen Review... I found it simply roaming downtown.

OKAMOTO KITCHEN KATSU CURRY is out of this world good. I had a blast just walking down the DTLA streets and found thousands of people dressed for the occasion.. It was The Los Angeles Anime Expo. I love Anime, I think it is interesting but I found FOOD TRUCKS across the street and I had to find the best Food Trucks out there. I totally did. I best you want to taste.
